Brief bio:
I primarily work with adolescents (16+ years) and adults (18+ years), across gender, sexual, cultural and religious identities on a wide range of biological, psychological and social concerns related to mental health.
I have a trauma informed, queer affirmative, sex positive, intersectional, feminist approach and belief that everyone deserves to be treated with equity regardless of race, religion, gender, class, caste or sexual orientation.
I actively pursue continuing my professional development in order to provide the best standards of care possible.
My desire to be of service to the community has directed my interests since my early years and consequently my career as a mental healthcare provider. I find solace in nature and animals and they continue to be a source of rejuvenation and respite in this trying world.
In 2021, I co-founded The Torchbearers Foundation, a not for profit, section 8 company registered under the Companies Act, 2013 under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India. We are working towards the prevention of and response to Sexual and Gender Based Violence in India.
